Jubrile Belo had the perfect finish to a rookie season after helping Stade Rochelais to a historic Pro-B playoffs title, in France.
The rookie forward contributed nine points and 12 rebounds in the Game 2 victory over Boulazac which also secured his side’s place in the top-flight for the first time in its history.
Belo – who made a GB Senior debut earlier this year – finished the 2023-24 campaign with averages of 9.2 points and 7.1 rebounds per game across 41 appearances.
The Barking Abbey product turned pro last summer after spending four years at Montana State – earning the Big Sky Player of the Year accolade in 2022 – with 1500+ points and 750+ rebounds accumulated, whilst setting the school’s block record.
Stade Rochelais finished top of the regular season standings with a 27-7 record, before beating ASA 2-1 and sweeping Rouen en route to the Finals.
